Name: Misato Katsuragi
Background:
Misato's father took them to the Antarctic with his scientific research team and she found she hated him for working all hours and ignoring her and her mother. Soon after her mother filed for divorce, there was a massive explosion at the camp and her father saved her life by putting the child Misato in a pod and sending her into the ocean, the act of which killed him and she was the lone survivor of the accident.
After being rescued, Misato was left with horrific scarring on her torso and her mental state. She was totally mute for two years and was kept in a mental institute until they could discover the way to get her to talk again.
